We have a shitload of things happening all at once (we are so busy)
This is all leading up to a 'proper' CD release.
We have numerous deals in negotiation, as well as all us guys taking on independent tasks to share the workload around.
Here is just a few of the things that will happen in a short while (these things should all happen at once if done properly)
* CD will be launched with a big show, and will be available through a major distributer and available (at least to order) through pretty much any store.
* The EP & Individual songs will be available online through all the major Internet Download sites (ie. Itunes, Napster, Bigpond music, CokeMusic + at least 100 other sites). This will also include internet promotion.
* Product Endorsments
* Merchandise - new selection of merchandise which will be available online to buy.
* GonebyTen.com - you may have already noticed that www.gonebyten.com links to our myspace page now - in the next week or so, our new website will be open. (I'll let you know when its open). and with the release of the CD. The CD, mp3's, merch etc. will all be available to buy online.
* Video Clip - a clip for 'theres a pub now in my school' should be filmed around this time too - and all you guys can be in it if you want
* Live recording/filming - We are tee'd up to do a live recording/filming that will be done at the cat & fiddle in balmain in early august. The gig is with 'My Name Is John' and 'Ebola Goldfish' and everyone will be sharing the live camera/recording crew. We'll be compiling this into a Live DVD - not sure how it will be released, but clips from it will go on our myspace and website. Probably sell the actual DVD at gigs and online.
* Radio - we should also get the Song some airplay - triple J should be easy enough. But we'll try and propell it onto comercial radio too. Internet radio stations will also feature our music, and should be pretty easy to get the video clip on rage - and J-TV that is starting up (if they play video clips, might just be docos)
* GIGs! - we'll be playing our hearts out with the release of the CD - hopefully go as many places as we can. We'll hit melbourne / canberra / Brisbane aswell as our hometown of Sydney. If it is possible we'll hit other places like adelaide etc. We'll be trying to make as many of these shows as possible to be ALL-AGES. And hopefully also play support for a few touring bands.
* Future - after all this takes place, it should set us up to move a lot futher forward in the future. The sky's the limit....
